Ameritel began as a single retail store in Lower Manhattan, selling beepers, pagers and wireless services. Founder Nathan Yanovitch quickly grew that single location into a multi-store chain, offering wireless services from OmniPoint, which later became VoiceStream and then T-Mobile.

Concurrent with the expansion of our retail operations throughout New York, New Jersey, California, Georgia, and Florida, Ameritel has built a significant wholesale distribution business with regional offices and warehouses across the country. Today, Ameritel supports a network of more than 1,000 independent dealers and company owned-and-operated retail stores. We are proud to have been recognized by T-Mobile-USA, our exclusive carrier in our company stores, as one of its top three providers of new subscribers. Our market knowledge and strong emphasis on service continues to enhance T-Mobile’s positive reputation and brand awareness nationally.

Within the mature market of wireless communication devices, Ameritel has established itself as a leader in providing superior service to both its dealers and its retail customers. For example, we support our sub-dealers and company stores with major advertising expenditures, local promotions and special events, and frequent intensive dealer training. We strive to build long-term relationships with our retail customers through efforts like our dedicated Voice of the Customer program, which contacts customers within a few days of their store visit to ensure a quality retail experience.

Ameritel is expanding its network by launching new company owned-and-operated stores as well as recruiting new sub-dealers across the country. We use extensive market research and demographic analysis to select strategic new locations. Our knowledge of local market conditions, our reputable dealers and high-traffic retail locations, and ability to deliver dealer satisfaction position us to continue growing our leadership position in the wireless communications industry.
